# Rate limits and credits

> Persistent limits, response headers, monthly grants, and refunds.

Landryx enforces per-key minute and daily counters in Postgres, so serverless instance changes do not reset limits.

Successful metered responses include:

* `X-Request-Id`
* `X-Landryx-Credits-Used`
* `X-Landryx-Credit-Balance`
* `X-Landryx-Plan`

HTTP 4xx and 5xx calls are automatically refunded. `429` includes `Retry-After`. Included monthly credits are granted after a successful invoice; Explorer credits are granted monthly without a card.
