# Construction costs

Construction endpoints separate assumption-driven screening from line-item cost evidence. Scenario tools state regional, temporal, size, contingency, and escalation inputs. Monte Carlo outputs report their seed and distribution assumptions.

Detailed cost operations require the configured upstream cost service. They fail closed when that service is unavailable.
